This is definitely the best way to convert any '55-'65 6 volt wiper motor to 12 volts.

Direct replacement for the 6 Volt original. We have fitted these ourselves, and they work really well. 

Converting your 6-volt wiper motor into 12-volt just became a snap with our new conversion armature. No need for those bulky, unsightly and unreliable voltage reducers, our conversion unit converts voltage the proper way and installs in less than 5 minutes. Works on all SWF brand wiper motors, 1958-1966 Beetle and 1955-1964 Bus.

These will fit '65 only wiper motor (8/64-7/65 or anything with 3rd vin digit '5'), the loaf shaped style, but will NOT fit 66-67 motors, which is the cylinder type motor.
